EURAM (European Academy of Management), EDAMBA (European Doctoral Programmes Association in Management and Business Administration) and EIASM (European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management) invite doctoral students to participate in the Doctoral Consortium. This invitation is especially addressed to doctoral students enrolled in a PhD or DBA programme on Management, Economics or related topics, who have already a research project or are completing it for their dissertation, and who wish to present it to a international scientific community.
THE OBJECT OF THE DOCTORAL CONSORTIUM
The object of the Doctoral Consortium is to give doctoral students the opportunity
ACTIVITIES OF THE CONSORTIUM
Plenary sessions about doctoral research: The plenary sessions will be panel sessions, celebrated with professors from different countries, on topics such as methodology, problems on preparing dissertations and writing for publishing.
Parallel sessions for presenting and commenting research projects: In these sessions doctoral students and faculty members will work in groups organized around research areas. Doctoral students will have a session of twenty-five minutes, divided into ten minutes for the presentation and fifteen minutes for comments, feedbacks and discussions.
For doctoral students it is important to practice in the parallel sessions the skills on making short and clear presentations and on discussing their work with the normal criteria of the academic world.
A common lunch for doctoral students and faculty members who will attend the Consortium, which is important for research networking.
Coffee breaks which facilitate discussions and friendships.
Constitution of networks for further collaborations.
CALL FOR SUBMISSION OF PAPERS ON THE DOCTORAL RESEARCH PROJECT
The papers submitted to the Doctoral Consortium must be the research projects for the dissertationThe papers will include the following parts:
- The literature review of the research area or the state of the art of the subject
- The conceptual framework or theory
- The research hypothesis or the research questions
- The bibliography
EVALUATION
Papers will be evaluated and accepted in a process of double-blind referees.
PUBLICATION
Abstracts will be published in the paper book of the EURAM Conference , which will be distributed in the Conference. Full papers will be published in the electronic publication of EURAM Conference.

FEES AND REGISTRATION
The fees for the doctoral consortium are 100 €, which are for the organization of the Consortium, lunch for doctoral students and faculty members, and coffee breaks.
